Leisureville, it’s time to unite and move forward.
The 2010 election is over, the dawn of a new beginning. With this new beginning we have a golden opportunity to unite, focus our attention, and direct our energy toward maintaining Leisureville as an active adult community. The hundreds of comments posted on the previous blogs have identified many concerns expressed by our residents. Let us now address these issues in a positive manner. For Leisureville to move forward, the negative atmosphere that has permeated our community must give way to positive constructive dialogue, leading to actions that will revitalize Leisureville. The new board must put individual agendas aside and work together as an example to our residents. Through the cooperative leadership of all the directors and the combined talents of our residents, Leisureville will regain the desirability it was designed to offer as an Active Adult Community.
I am extending an offer to this board, as well as all residents, to take advantage of this blog to immediately communicate with one another. I ask only that you refrain from any defamatory or libelous comments.
What are your thoughts?
The election is over, the results are in: Donna King (1049 votes), Steve Schone (1002 votes), Dennis Mozier (891 votes), Lee Wische (782 votes). Janet Dixon (648 votes) and Carl Wagner (472 votes). The four candidates receiving the highest number of votes are our new directors.
